Seems every year I added on to this image.
This one's from 2004, a darker version from the one I did in 03'.
The original sketch is still in the 'scraps' :)
Still uses a variety of mediums like the last one, mainly watercolour amongst the others.

I called it goth because I made her complextion more fairer and other features a lot darker including the background - yet she's smiling... do goths smile? i dunno, I made her up :D

Haha, yes, goths smile. They smile a lot. They're some of the nicest people you could hope to meet, they're just outwardly dressed in black, and don't seem to have much mind for morals or personal responsibility. But other than that, they're like drama kids that just went down a slightly more macabre path.

I love how you've done the hair, it looks so real I thought it was a photo manipulation. Her chin is shaped kind of strangely (it's too small or too narrow, I think), and it's hard to see the difference between her chin and her neck because they're almost the exact same pale shade (her neck should have a little bit of a cast shadow on it) but other than that looks fantastic.

thanks for the comment! I'm sure goth's are quite nice people, i have known a few friends who leant in that direction and they are great people.

gosh, im surprised you only picked up on the shape of the face. I can tell u, i could probobly pick 101 things that I could now fix up from what i didn't see in the past. the original was drawn in 2002. I just tried different colouring versions but never actually fixed up the drawing itself.

anyway, thanks for the input, much appreciated ;)
